[ When K returns to his room after the afternoon's death and subsequent intense investigation, he may or may not notice a faint scraping noise outside the door as someone slowly pushes a scrap of paper under it. ]

[K returned to his room to take a break from the havoc, feeling more overwhelmed than he openly admitted about Yuya's sudden death. But when he hears the noise and sees a paper pushed through the crack of Tiger #2 he gets curious and approaches, picking up the piece of paper and checking to see if something is said.]

[paws_and_rewind]

[ It's from today's newspaper - a chunk of the article of the Levi-related announcement. Levi's picture has been ripped down the center. Another paper scrap is following.]

[jingler]

[Hm. Interesting. Why rip Levi's picture? K goes to the next paper scrap.]

[paws_and_rewind]

[ It's a piece of another newspaper picture. Followed by another torn piece, and another... put together, they come out to a slightly damp image of Edea Lee messing about with a water gun. ]

[jingler]

[It takes K a couple moments to realize the torn pieces can be arranged into a picture and carefully he arranges all the pieces until he comes up with an image of...]

Edea...?

[Holding some kind of toy gun? Hm.

K looks to his door and after a moment decides to open it, checking to see if anyone is outside his door or around.]

[paws_and_rewind]

[ There is not! By now, there is a small dog outside the barracks, listening intently for any movement or speech from within. ]

[jingler]

[K waits outside his room for a short while, looking to see someone will come by, but goes back into his room closing it again. Maybe whoever gave this to him doesn't want him to know their identity? In that case waiting inside might make them come back.

Nevertheless he stares down the image of Edea with a water gun, trying to see if he can decipher what it could mean. There are suspicions and the one that sticks out to him most is the one he wants to be true the least.]
